Purpose of this Position:
The primary function of this position is to generate increased customer accounts, and help service/support the over 4,000 current customer base. Work is to be performed in accordance with established procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
Our Ideal Candidate has Calibration Gas industry knowledge (Gas Mixtures, cylinders, regulators)
Competitor analysis:
Marketing and strategic management is an assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of current and potential competitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Build, Generate Accounts, and help maintain existing accounts
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not supervise staff
Qualifications:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to type 45 wpm accurately and efficiently, have good organizational skills, and be hardworking and conscientious. Education and/or Experience:
High school education or GED required / College Preferred / Experience in the Calibration Gas Industry Extremely helpful
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase order instructions, specs on Calibration Gas and related equipment. Ability to communicate, complete standard forms as necessary, and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform advanced math/chemistry functions.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems, Capable of relating with and understanding a variety of products and customers.
Physical Demands:
Frequency of required physical force: rare
Lifting requirements: lifting Work is performed mainly indoors
Other Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Availability to work overtime as needed on a daily basis as well a some weekends flexibility
Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
Oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs. Good interpersonal skills that foster open communication built on mutual respect.
